The VectorVMS Inside Sales Representative is responsible for driving the sales prospecting process and execution for VectorVMS to deliver quota expectations and deliver solutions to meet customer needs.  In this role, successful candidates will make outbound contact and speak with decision makers to articulate the value of our products and deliver a robust solution for the customer resulting in creating a high level of interest in VectorVMS and a qualified lead.

The VectorVMS Inside Sales Representative is responsible for driving the sales prospecting process and execution for VectorVMS to deliver quota expectations and deliver solutions to meet customer needs.  In this role, successful candidates will make outbound contact and speak with decision makers to articulate the value of our products and deliver a robust solution for the customer resulting in creating a high level of interest in VectorVMS and a qualified lead.

Responsibilities:

  • Prospects, qualifies and generates sales leads to meet and exceed 100% quota.
  • Creates a pipeline of new sales leads/opportunities through research and outreach with various. contacts at all levels and departments.
  • Conducts discovery calls to understand the customer’s business intimately well.
  • Accurately uses sales management database (CRM) for sales processing and keeping comprehensive, accurate notes.
  • Articulates the business solution to help decision-makers through the sales cycle to the point of turning over the qualified lead to the account executive team.
  • Actively maintains a sales lead pipeline in Salesforce.com and keeps management informed of sales lead pipeline stages.
  • Maintains daily activity standards and business driver metrics to meet and exceed sales quota.
  • Accurately forecasts monthly sales leads and revenue estimates
  • Maintains all essential self-study programs to insure understanding of VectorVMS solution.
  • Works effectively as part of a team, exerts positive influence, serves as a team resource, and supports VectorVMS mission.
  • Monitors competition and current marketplace to then differentiate our products and services to beat the competition
  • Develops a strong understanding of the contingent workforce industry in regards to VectorVMS technology, VectorVMS delivery models, financial aspects and key value areas for buyers.

Requirements:

  • BS degree or equivalent experience
  • Experience in the contingent workforce industry preferred
  • Experience in staffing and recruiting or managed service provider experience is a plus
  • Minimum of 2 years of inside sales experience
  • Proven experience progressing prospects through the sales cycle to a qualified lead
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Strong analytical skills to understand the customer, their business and the technology issues and needs
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to deliver clear, concise messages in limited time
