The Spend Matters ranking was published in the latest version of its SolutionMap report, which benchmarks technology and solutions within the procurement and supply chain spectrum. Rankings are determined through a series of rigorous analyses by a dedicated lead analyst and a team of supporting analysts. These include comprehensive product demos and documentation reviews of revenue models, buyer and supplier fees, new vs. replacement customers, customer TCO, ROI and success metrics, as well as case studies.

With a BA in English Literature and Social Anthropology from the University of the Witwatersrand in Johannesburg, as well as over two decades of experience as a content writer and editor, Jared is a self-styled grammar nerd and advocate for the Oxford comma. Prior to his role at LTG, Jared was Deputy Editor of the largest TV magazine in South Africa and worked as PR Specialist for a national youth radio station.
